Security Guard - Unarmed
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour depending on experience
Job type: Full-time & Part-time
Job description: We are looking for an unarmed guard to join our team of security professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a visible security presence, monitoring access control, and conducting patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises. The unarmed guard must be able to remain calm under pressure and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a background check.
Preferred candidate qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation & Cell Phone
- Valid Illinois PERC Card
- Minimum age at time of application: 20
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Neat and professional appearance
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance
- Ability to meet punctuality standards
- Good communication skills, both oral and in writing
Security Guard - ARMED
Pay: Depending on experience
Job type: Full-time & Part-time
Job description: We are seeking an armed guard to join our team of security professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a visible security presence, monitoring access control, and conducting patrols while carrying a firearm to ensure the safety and security of the premises. The armed guard must be able to remain calm under pressure, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to use a firearm safely and responsibly. The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be licensed to carry a firearm, and pass a background check. Prior law enforcement or military experience is preferred, but not required.
Preferred candidate qualifications include:
- Certificate of Completion – State approved Firearms Training Course
- Valid Illinois FOID Card (Illinois residents)
- Valid Illinois PERC Card
- Valid State Firearms Certification
- Minimum age at time of application: 21
- Full-time officers must be able to work rotating shifts or assigned shifts
- Part-time officers must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week and work rotating or assigned shifts
- Must have reliable means of communication at all times
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Friendly and professional demeanor
